Making Glass Jewelry

Question: Can I use 'superglue' - Cyanoacrylate adhesive - to attach glass and plastic beads to a metal base ?
I'm making jewellery and want to attach small and larger glass and plastic beads to a metal sieve ring finding. Will superglue work or will I need a cement type of glue ? I'm also concerned that the surface of the beads may be spoiled by the glue.
Answer: I think you can get superglue glass, made especially for gluing glass or transparrent items. The secret to superglue by the way is one small drop per square inch, don't go spreading it all over the surface.. In the case of glass beads you would just need a tiny drop per bead.
