I know I sound retarded! But I make jewelry and sell in from my home and now a shop is interested in picking it up. From what I understand, price point is what I would sell it to them for but I really have no idea. for example....

Question: Should I trust this site?

I found this (supposedly) pearl necklace and earring set. The website says they are good quality pearl, and not plastic. but the price is only about 8 dollars for the set, so if they were real, why so cheap? I wouldn't mind buying them for myself even if they are plastic, but i'm considering jewelry for my bridal party, and i wouldn't want to give out fake pearls.

Answer: If they are only $8 for a set, they are guaranteed not to be real. "Good quality" means different things to different people so it's kind of a mushy term. I would rather have a nice pair of pearl earrings and no necklace, rather than a set, if the quality was higher for the earrings!! ; )

btw, the term "fashion jewelry" means costume jewelry as opposed to "fine jewelry" where real pearls would be sold. So, this website specializes in costume jewelry.
