Question: Can anyone here recommend a good beading book?

I know I can look it all up on the internet, but what I need are real reviews. I like to do basic jewelry making, but I find myself amiss when I try to create and eye-loop or join together a necklace. Does anyone know of a how-to book with basics of making beaded jewelry?

Answer: Ruth Poris has a number of books that are excellent, very easy to follow. There are LOTS of bead books available. I suggest you check out the larger bookstores in your area and find one that appeals to you that is geared toward the type of projects you want to do. And don't forget to check the used book stores. I have some real treasures on beads and all sorts of crafting that are out of print that I got at used book stores.
