Question: Promotional Ideas for Small Business?
I've been running my own Jewelry Business for a couple of years. It's mainly a side hobby thing that I do - it certainly doesn't make enough money to constitute a second job, though we do parties and craft shows. People like our products, and we have a nice base of customers that know us well.
This year I'd like to find some free places to advertise my business and its website, and perhaps some craft consignment places?
I already am on etsy (just a few items for now), I have a website with a domain matching the name of my business, and I am opposed to using ebay because fees are much too high.
I am wondering if anyone knows of other sites like etsy, or places to put up pages free that can advertise my business?
I have an LJ about to be published, and a page attached to my facebook. I also have a myspace for our business.
Other suggestions are appreciated.
Also, if anyone knows of craft consignment places in Massachusetts or southern NH, that would be also appreciated.

Different Rings Used In Jewelry Making

Question: Can someone help me with a piece of jewelry?
I have a ring my mom gave me that has 8 diamonds and 11 rubies in it. I wanted to know if there is some way I could take the stones out and have them set into a different band in a different style? I don't even know how to ask the question correctly, but I think that gets the jist of what I need to do. I'm mostly looking to make the ring she gave me into an engagement ring but I don't want to use the ring my mom gave me, just the stones. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
Answer: Im sure if you go to a good jeweler its possible to take the stones out and have them set in the ring of your choice.
