Question: How to make money while being a stay at home mom?
I am a recent addition to the group of women who stay at home with their children. I am 22 and have worked since I was 16. Now that I am home, I am finding that I would love to be able to make money, but I definitely want to stay at home with my daughter. I absolutely understand that most "make money from home" deals are a scam. I'm just hoping that someone will read this question and be able to give me some viable options for making money from home. I make jewelry (but I'm a beginner at it), I am a very fast and accurate typist, and a hard worker. The work at home jobs don't have to have anything to do with typing or jewelry making, but I thought that might be a helpful detail. Any ideas out there??
Libby- I thought about using Etsy, but they look like they have a very large amount of jewelry on there. How do you ever get your work shown when there are so many others on there?
Answer: It may not help you right this second but if you got an education in medical transcription you could do that from home and make great money. My friend does that.
Otherwise, consider working part time. I have been doing that since I became a mom and it is the best of both worlds.
