Home Base Jewelry Business

Question: Home based business?
I am planning on starting a silver jewelry selling home based business. What would be some good tips for having a business of this kind?
Answer: A combination of 2 things:
#1 - Get a good website made up for you or do it yourself.
#2 - Plan to attend a minimum 4 to 6 major craft fairs each year in your area. This will help bring in extra cash while you are building your website sales and popularity.

Jewelry Party Home Business

Question: What are some different parties that I could host for business opportunities?
For example, a few of my friends have recently been holding jewelry parties and candle parties. I'm looking to make a little extra money and I don't know of many businesses where I can work directly with a business and hold home shows to sell the product. Another example would be Avon. Any ideas?
Answer: Scentsy wickless candles are a great way to earn a little extra money! They have been around for just over 5 years and just opened up in Canada! Please check out my web site on my profile page~!

Jewelry Party Invitations

Question: How should I politely say NO...again?
My boyfriend's sister is a jewelry representative and sells jewelry on the side. She and her mother have asked me several times to both host and attend jewelry parties. I have told them that I just don't have the money to come and buy from her and I really don't want to ask that of my friends either. I've run out of acceptable excuses. What is a polite way to say NO to the most recent invitation I received?
Answer: Just tell them firmly but politely that you aren't interested. Maybe try saying, "As much as I know you would like me to buy and sell jewelry with you, I'm afraid that it is just not for me. It is simply out of my reach. But thank you for the offers anyway." Don't sound apologetic about it either, otherwise they probably will come back trying to get you to buy and sell again. Just be firm yet respectful.
