Jewelry Making Clamps

Question: How to pierce belly button?
okay, I want to pierce my belly button, and I'm going to, I've decided. I'm doing it myself because my mom won't let me go. Should I buy a kit? it comes with a needle, a clamp, and the first jewelry does it sound good? Also how should I do it, preferably from people who have done it. P.s. I pierced my lip so I know how to handle it and if it gets real infected I'll take it out. But how should I make sure this doesn't happen and how will it look if I need to take it out. k thanks.
okay thats annoying just gimme the answer u just make me mad, I already made up my mind.

Answer: well yes buy the kit, but make sure that you get the needle that is tubular so you don't have to pull it out, then put the jewelry in. the tubular needle is a bit thicker and the jewelry slides inside the needle and then you can pull the needle out with the jewelry left in the piercing. other than that, just make sure to mark where you are going to be piercing and relax your stomach muscles, maybe have a friend help you out.

Question: does anyone know what metals contain nickel?
not sure where to ask this question. Im setting up my own business selling jewellery making supplies, i know that there is a uk regulation which means i can only sell nickel free items, but i need help finding out what metals contain it (unless stated).
Could you answer the following
Does copper contain nickel?
Tibetan silver contain nickel?
any other metals that you can think of.
Answer: there's no firm rule. you simply must demand your suppliers supply nickel-free product.
Pure copper is just that. Copper containing anything else is an alloy.

Bulk Beads For Jewelry Making

Question: Twisted wire in jewelry making?
I bought some bulk jewelry supplies and got some very fine twisted wire. It doesn't really hold it's shape very well, but it does have permanent creases if you fold it. What can I do with this? Is it just used for threading beads?
It must be that Tigertail wire. It's not the normal 24 gauge wire, but a lot smaller. Kind of looks like the thick guitar strings.
Answer: It is also used for cage wrapping stones. Twisted really tightly in patterns or tied in knots in patterns over the stones then twisted or tied into a bale for hanging works really well.
I have seen some really pretty things created out of ordinary stones this way.
